Matt did a great job replacing my old picket fence with a new one. My property had some unusual grading issues, and Matt was able to figure out a good solution that was a big improvement over the original design. My assessment of Matt is that he is a sincere person and a hard worker. I have hired contractors through Thumbtack before, and while some of them suddenly increased their prices when they hit an unforeseen problem, or even threatened to walk away altogether, Matt impressed me with his persistence, and his willingness to solve the problem, even though he probably ended up losing some of his profits by doing so.

Mason and his Savvy Daddy crew where terrific!! Mason came out to give me an estimate and was able to do so right there without ever having to leave my side. His price was initially just a little above out budget, but after talking, he agreed to do the project for what we had budgeted for! His crew knew what they where doing, they made the spaces between the fence pickets perfectly even, and they constantly checked to ensure the fence was level. Even with the heat, the crew only took one 15 minute break and kept going! I am glad I chose Savvy Daddy Home Solutions!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is nice and simple and is unlike any other in the business. We do not mark up our supplies or materials used on your project like our competitors, and our labor rate is quoted to you as a "not to exceed" rate... what's that? Well, say we estimate a project will take 20 hours and that is what we quote for the labor charge... and we actually take 26 hours to finish your project... everyone else will charge you for those extra 6 hours of labor, sometimes at an "overtime" rate which can be up to 1.5 times the normal rate!! WE will not charge you for those 6 additional hours of labor- this is an incentive to my crew to work hard and it's also to relieve the stress off of YOU knowing that your bill will not be any higher that what was quoted, unless additional work is added to the project!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My crew and I just recently wrapped up a very large project for a very sweet Motivator!! We did wall-to-wall laminate flooring, replaced her sliding glass door with French Doors, installed a new kitchen sink and redid the water and drain lines under her sink so that her dishwasher actually emptied into her garbage disposal now, rather than back up into her sink (along with a beautiful new faucet), replaced 5 ceiling lights with 52" fans, installed 2 ADA Handicap toilets, and also gutted her master bathroom and was able to enlarge it after discovering wasted space behind her wall!! This project couldn't have gone any better if we wished it to, and out Motivator is extremely satisfied with the results of the project and has received numerous compliments about the work done!
