For projects with a duration of longer than a week, I require weekly progress payments. Payments are based on the % of work completed since the previous payment. If project lasts less than a week, payment is due at time of completion. Cornerstone Construction – Terms & Conditions 1. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. 2. Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge. 3. Client is responsible for all costs associated with collection of unpaid balances. 4. Cornerstone Construction retains the right to file a mechanics lien for unpaid balances where allowed by law. 5. All materials remain property of Cornerstone Construction until payment is made in full. 6. Any alterations or deviations involving extra costs will be executed only upon written approval. 8. Client agrees to provide safe access to the job site and assumes responsibility for pets, children, and property. 9. For electronic payments (including Venmo), client is responsible for ensuring payment is sent to the correct account.
