FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I think it’s important for clients to know we actually spend a lot more time on your project than when we are at your home or office. You are only being charged the hourly rate for which we are on site assisting. When we aren’t on site, we are continuing to tweak your plan to achieve your vision and goals. If you have budgetary restraints on how much you can spend for our services, we can spend less time on site and allow you to work through the plan, with our team simply checking in for periodic updates to ensure you are making the progress you desire and to help keep accountability.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe it is important to have a simplified process for my clients to be successful. We always start with a consultation that is driven primarily by their vision of how they want the space to look and feel. From there, the basic steps include removing trash and donate items that are easily identifiable, moving items from a space they don’t belong to the one space they do belong, then prioritizing the most important items in each space. Once we have determined the available space has been effectively utilized with the most important items, it is much easier to make a final decision on the lesser important items that remain. Throughout this process, we are also able to identify storage and organization solutions as needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The majority of my training comes from real life experience. My methods for decluttering and organizing have been a household staple for our family. From a professional standpoint, my experience has been on a larger scale in the corporate environment. As a former operations manager, that oversaw logistics and warehousing, it was my daily task to declutter and organize inventory, tools, and work documents to effectively run a business and manage a team. It was here that I also realized my ability to problem solve in larger spaces, such as warehouses, can easily transfer to the home and office.
