I just had my first training session with Sarah. It was incredible. She really listens and understands. As someone who suffers from muscle and nerve pain every day due to fibromyalgia, I was concerned that a personal trainer would push my body too much and I would be struggling for a week after. Sarah has put my body at ease. She worked me enough that I feel a burn but my body isn't in agony. I am so happy to have found Sarah and I look forward to many, many more sessions with her! I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone!Nov 28, 2016Verified

She is above and beyond what I expected! Her background and years of experience shows immediately upon starting your sessions. She is extremely knowledgeable and made starting to work out again exciting and not dreadful. Her flexibility and availability fit perfect with my hectic life as a full-time working mom of 3 small children. I would highly recommend her to anyone that wanted a trainer or was thinking about joining a gym. She is worth every dollar spent.Mar 1, 2017Verified
I would recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a great trainer! I have worked out with numerous trainers in the past. I found Sarah to be really well trained and thoughtful about the workout she builds. Better than any trainer I've had in the past, Sarah is careful to work you (hard) in ways that both avoid injury or work around a current injury (if you have one). Bonus - she'll write you workout routines for off days, if you wish!May 23, 2016Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My personal training fee is competitive with the region's top trainers. For in-home personal training clients, subject to change based on location, my fee is $80/hour, which includes drive time and an hour workout. I also have an online workout service that is $150/month. This includes written workouts suited to help you reach your goals. Workouts are sent out each week. You will be held accountable to these workouts on a daily to weekly basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a complimentary meeting to each of my clients. We discuss your goals, health history, fitness background and expectations for the first session. Our first workout includes a 15-20 minute fitness assessment that can include the following: circumference measurements, aerobic test, strength test, flexibility and balance. With your assessment results, we will discuss findings and talk about risk markers. This allow me to individualize workouts suited to your strengths and weaknesses.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a four year Bachelor's Degree in an Exercise Science-related field. I have been a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine since 2008 and also have a certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Golf Fitness Specialist. I have completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in the last 10 years and continue to build upon my experience.
