Associates of Applied Science Degree in HVAC & Refrigeration with NCCER Levels 1–3 and EPA certifications held, demonstrating nationally recognized technical competence in residential, commercial, and industrial heating and cooling systems. Expertise in diagnostics, repair, installation, and energy-efficient solutions, we deliver dependable HVAC services built on proven skills, industry standards, and years of real-world experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our Story Atlas Heating & Air was built on a simple idea: combine technical expertise with a commitment to customer care. After earning a Business degree from Pittsburg State University and an Associates in HVAC, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering from Fort Scott Community College, our founder began his career with CDL Electric Co. and then advanced through the ranks at 1st Choice Heating & Cooling in Joplin, MO, ultimately becoming Operations Manager of the entire company. Armed with years of hands-on experience and a Master’s in HVAC & Electrical Engineering, he launched Atlas Heating & Air—a company dedicated to providing honest service, reliable solutions, and long-term comfort for homes and businesses across our community. At Atlas, we carry the responsibility of your comfort with the same strength and dependability as our name suggests.
