FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes - No charge for Meet & Greet or multi fur-baby homes. There are a variety of services available dependent upon the client's needs. Sitting ranges from a basic to extending + mornings, walking services range from a quick potty break to a one on one walk and there are additional services available. These are narrowed down during the initial call or Meet & Greet.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I first speak to a new customer on the telephone, we discuss the type of service, duration of service, type of fur-babies and specific information routine or special needs. Then we schedule Meet & Greet at no cost to introduce myself to both the fur-baby or fur-babies and the pet parents. This meeting averages an hour and covers the client information, the business information, documentation and scheduling of services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a member of the Pet Sitters International Association (PSI) and Pet Sitters Associates (PSA). I am also First Aid & CPR certified, attended 2016 PSI World Conference in San Diego, CA and studying for PSI's Certification in Professional Pet Sitting Program. My background check is through Sterling, a national screening company. Our business utilizes technology starting with the backend, the sitter and the clients. The software allows customers to schedule their services, pay invoices, view GPS check in/check out and receive automated emails with detailed service notes and photographs. This information can be accessed from a desktop computer or a smart phone. Along with the software technology, all services receive a text showing GPS check in/out and photographs of their Fur-Babies, so the Paw Parents can feel at ease that the service is being completed and they are not cheated on time.
