- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We keep things simple, fair, and transparent: At the time of service, we charge a $75 diagnostic fee to thoroughly inspect your appliance and determine the issue. Once the problem is identified, we’ll provide a clear repair estimate. If you choose to move forward with the repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the total cost of the job. This way, you’re never paying twice—just for the solution. Estimate: Once the problem is diagnosed, we’ll provide you with a written estimate for parts and labor. You’ll sign off on the estimate before any parts are ordered or additional work begins. Parts: Priced as needed for your repair Mileage Fee: For locations more than 1 hour from South Olathe, a $50 mileage fee may apply. (Speaking with the office ahead of time may allow this fee to be waived depending on scheduling.) No hidden costs—just straightforward service you can trust.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer reaches out, whether online or by phone, we confirm their appointment time to ensure it works for them. On the scheduled day, our technician arrives to diagnose the issue and clearly explain the problem. From there, we provide a written estimate for approval before moving forward. If parts are needed, we order them promptly and return to complete the repair. Once the work is finished, we provide a detailed invoice on-site so the process is clear and straightforward from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our technician brings several years of hands-on experience in appliance repair and general handyman work, backed by specialized training certifications for a wide range of appliances. In addition, they hold an EPA Type 1 certification, ensuring safe and professional handling of refrigerants and related systems.
