My husband, family and I loved working with Lucia for our wedding "Weekend-of-Coordination."
We weren't looking for a full wedding coordinator as I wanted to be involved every step of the way until the very end. She knew this, so she would check-in with me a few times leading up to the wedding, but then she took over all vendor communication about 2 weeks before the day-of to make sure they knew all details surrounding delivery times, set ups, etc.
She was always quick to reply to emails and calls, which as any bride will understand, is incredibly important when you suddenly have a question or are worried about logistics and need a response immediately.
She also organized and led our rehearsal the day before, prepared our day-of timeline, decorated on the wedding day, corralled all vendors on the day-of, handled giving our payments to each vendor (which we already had in envelopes and labeled), she ensured the timeline was followed, and escorted us to and from the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception sites on time.
When we had questions or requests during the wedding, she was easy to find and quick to fulfill. We found her once during the wedding to mention it seemed too bright on the dance floor and within a minute, the lights were dimmed. When we mentioned later that we felt we were having a hard time getting people to dance, she talked with our DJ and they changed up the music to something our crowd enjoyed dancing to.
She was always so positive, bubbly, friendly, organized, and prepared. When my bridal shoes kept falling off before walking down the aisle, she McGyver'ed an insert for the heel to make the shoes smaller and more comfortable. I was so impressed and amused!
I would definitely recommend Lucia to any brides in the area.

I know I could not have pulled off my wedding without Lucia! I truly believe she can do anything! She had all the answers. If there was something I needed and could not find she either already had it in her inventory or knew where to find it at a great price. I used a few of her recommended vendors and was very impressed with their service as well. Lucia answered all of my email in a timely manner and was always available for phone calls and to meet me for a couple of vendor meetings. The day of the wedding Lucia was calm and prepared. Everything was perfect and so beautiful. I would highly recommend Lucia and her team!

Lucia is amazing! She got to the venue and jumped right in getting the reception venue pulled together. She was quick and had a grasp on the concept immediately. Her demeanor is pleasant and to the point. I enjoyed working with her immensely. We actually had a great time and got along very well. She is truly wonderful and their wasn't a task she couldn't handle making it much easier for me. The evening was lovely and everyone was thrilled. I've had lovely comments from the families as well as the guests. If you want things to flow beautifully Lucia at "Come Join Us" is the person to hire. Your event will be fabulous with her wonderful attention to details.
