Introduction: Hello! My name is Matt Pithers, and I am a personal trainer based out of Kansas City. I have over eight years of experience creating individualized fitness programs for a variety of clientele. I offer studio-based personal and small group training as well as in-home training for those who have (or willing to purchase) the equipment required for their program. I believe in finding my clients unique goals and guiding them through simple, effective approaches to reaching those goals. My job is to provide the knowledge and accountability require for safe and effective workouts, whether you have been working out for years or brand new to the gym!

I actually work in the fitness industry, and I was looking for a very specific type of trainer/training. Before I started working out with Matt, I did quite a bit of research, because I was looking for a trainer who knew his stuff (who could teach me a thing or two), and was motivating enough to push me a little harder than I would push myself. He had such a loyal following of clients, and they all said the same thing... He kicks your butt, and you still want to come back later that week and hang out with him! I can honestly say I love the results I have gotten from his training, and I have never looked better. He competes as a natural bodybuilder, so he not only looks the part, but he knows what works and what doesn't, and he doesn't waste your time! I appreciate that he walks the walk, and he is honest about the fact that there aren't any shortcuts. He's so real about his approach, he makes you believe you can reach any goal, and he makes you put in the work! Training with him was definitely one of the best investments I have ever made in myself. I would recommend him to anyone, and all his clients would tell you the same! His schedule fills up fairly quickly, but he is great about getting me on his set schedule at the same days/times during the month, and I really appreciate that! When I need to, he is SO good about working with me and my somewhat difficult schedule. I have never had to miss a workout! Do yourself a favor, and book with him while you can. I can't say enough good things about him and his training!

When I first moved to Kansas City, MO, I wanted to find a convenient gym and a knowledgeable trainer to push me further in obtaining my goals. I was very fortunate to meet Hannah who mentioned her husband, Matt, may have openings for personal-training sessions. I have been meeting Matt for over five weeks now and have had an extremely positive experience during every session with him. Matt clearly demonstrates knowledge in his profession while maintaining a fun and upbeat attitude. He is flexible with his time and approach and I always feel I can ask questions and bounce around various ideas. Matt takes the time to challenge your routine and find new ways to bring you closer to your goals. I truly believe both Hannah and Matt are committed to providing positive experiences to their clients and are willing to put in as much effort as their trainee. I am grateful to have found a reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, friendly, and passionate fitness trainer like Matt. I'd highly recommend his services to anyone ready to met their fitness goals.

Matt has transformed my body and my life. As a personal trainer he coached me holistically as I lost over 80 pounds and has helped me keep it off for over 4 years. I feel strong and have even enjoyed a few 5K's with my new found strength and energy. He is a good listener , always on time and a knowledgeable trainer. He keeps the work outs fresh and I look forward to every session.

    Make sure you have a clear vision of what you want out of your training. A lot of people will seek out a trainer and expect results to fall into their lap without taking responsibility. You must make an effort on a daily basis to get great results.
