Ginny's Cleaning Service
Introduction: I clean and sanitize all kitchens and bathrooms, clean all floors and solid surface floors by hand, do the laundry, and change the bedding, if requested.
I can wipe down blinds and baseboards and vacuum all carpets and clean ceiling fan blades. I do not dust around items; I pick them up and dust underneath and also the sides and legs of all furniture, not just the tops.
I also clean ovens and refrigerator when asked.
I supply all my own cleaning supplies and vacuum. I do have green cleaning supplies also, if that is what you prefer. You will have myself and my helper every time; you will not have different people each week.
What my customers enjoy about my cleaning is that I am detail-oriented.
I have 2 openings for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly.

The following is only MOST of the disgusting situation Ginny's Cleaning Service put me through recently after finally getting her to respond to me on 9/23 and making a plan to meet the following day at 1 p.m. -
**9/23**
Ginny - "I called my husband to get directions so i knew how to get there tom and he said it is a really bad neighborhood so i shouldnt go there. I am sorry"
GW - "It is between 2 universities with quite a bit of security. I am on a street with a lot of fraternities. If you follow poor communication with a cancellation, I will be really pissed. FYI."
Ginny - "Ok if you r sure it is safe i will be there"
GW - "Thank you. If you wish, you can stop after the basement cleaning and NOT do maintenance house cleanings. Also, I can meet you to give & pick up future ironing jobs if you wish to go forward with that.
See you tomorrow at 1 p.m. at [my house]. GW"
Ginny - "So u just want me to clean the basement tom"
GW - "If you'd like to go ahead & do the basement, that's your choice and very acceptable. 'Til now, we were ONLY talking about your checking it out so as to be prepared. So:
1) tomorrow is a check;
OR
2) tomorrow is a clean;
AND
3) we could go forward with a schedule of HOUSE cleaning each season (i.e. 4x/year);
AND
4) we can set up a location & time for me to get the 1st batch of shirts to be ironed which I'll give you tomorrow.
Let me know what you want tomorrow to be - a 15-minute visit OR a 2-hour cleaning. :)"
Ginny - "Ok i will check it out tom and then schedule cleaning for 1 day next week then i can commme in the morning"
GW - "Understood."
Ginny - "K"

GW - "Almost there."
Ginny - "there is an accident so traffic is backed up but i am on my way"
1:33 p.m.
GW - "What do you reckon?"
1:59 p.m.
GW - "Ginny, I have been here for 55 minutes. I told you I would be doing things beforehand & afterwards, and I must leave at 2. We only have 1 option now:
we schedule a date for your doing the basement WITHOUT your seeing it. If not, then it will be poor communication followed by an attempted cancellation followed by a no-show after having the prospective customer wait over 45 minutes. I simply CANNOT understand anybody's desire (much less a small business owner's) to engage in such behavior."
I have not been too impressed with Thumbtack's ability to match me with quality servicepeople, and I am disgusted by Ginny's Cleaning Service and wish to advise all prospective customers to steer clear of it. GW

I explained to this customer that I could not clean for him because it was not a safe neighborhood, my husband and my helper both said the same thing and my helper refused to help me with this house. Since then there has been a shooting in this neighborhood.

Ginny 's service was very good my wife was real pleased with how. Clean it was and she was able to enjoy her birthday with out having to stress over cleaning and my kids enjoy making pictures for them all day. Thanks Ginny!! Great job!!

Ginny was able to work me in on a day's notice due to a cancellation. She was just wonderful! I am in the process of vacating my old house and needed it cleaned even though it didn't have heat. She ended up doing more than I asked her to do and didn't charge a dime more! Heartily recommend her. Her cost was FAR less than other quotes I have received, even from people I know. Book her NOW!!!
