We worked with Matt at the studio for our first dance at our wedding! He was absolutely amazing and made us enjoy dancing. We nailed our first dance and stayed on the dance floor all night long! Couldn’t of had anyone better, excited for more classes in the future!

Matt is a fun and (very!) patient instructor. Dancing with him feels smooth and effortless. He has a keen and intuitive ability to identify what a student is struggling with—whether in a particular move, or in his/her/their dancing overall—and has the nicest way of communicating to his students ways to improve. In an activity where it’s quite easy—especially as a beginner—to feel nervous or awkward, Matt makes his students feel comfortable and confident and takes genuine interest in their progress. I highly recommend taking lessons with Matt!

Matt Schissler has a unique way of teaching. He brings the student to a higher level dancing. He is exceptional in teaching lead and follow. After a couple of months of instructions from Matt I am certain that I will continue my training with him in a variety of dances for a very long time.
