Did a job with my dogs and took time to answer any questions or concerns that I had. Going for walks with our dogs is now something we look forward too as much as our dogs do rather than dread the barking and leash pulling that used to go with it. Also, I love that I can now use the LOOK command to get my dog to stop barking at people outside. Thank you soooo much for your help wishing I had called you sooner!

We feel that Mike helped us with our two pups at a critical juncture in their development. His knowledge of training and the proper equipment was excellent. Friendly and engaging, he warmed the dogs to him and we are now comfortable walking our boys each day for this first time which was one of the most important skills we were looking to learn from Mike. After months of struggling on my own with two robust puppies (and an older, Staffy), Mike's arrival seemed like CPR! My home was in a state of perpetual chaos when Mike came through the door the first time. And, within a couple of minutes, a sense of calm came over all of us. We quickly learned how to effect that peace with simple exercises that Mike provided, and I felt tremendous hope in achieving what had seemed impossible: peace!
One puppy is a robust Staffy who operates in high gear most of the time. The other puppy; a 150-lb. Bull Mastiff, just doesn't feel the need to extend himself in life, as he simply prefers not to. However, Mike has given me the tools to correct the problematic behavior that both present.
We have learned so much from Mike, and our quality of life has truly improved, in just three sessions. My pups are happier these days! I look forward to working with Mike in the near future, as we move forward with my big boy in getting him better socialized.

We have had an initial review of our dog and her nature. I like his approach and consideration. We are working on the first lessons with her and will continue lessons with him. My husband and I are an older couple and although the dog is older as well, I think our dog will learn quicker than us. It will be an issue of making and maintaining a habit. We have to jointly learn, our dog and our family. I think it will be all worth it!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do an in depth evaluation of the current dog/owner situation. This takes about 1 hour and is $125. I offer a 3 session starter package for $300. Many issues can be addressed in these first sessions Many folks only need one 3 session package to get on the right path. Once the session is complete, we will set goals and expectations for future sessions if needed.
Training is based on the first session and what type of work is involved. The average training prices are as follows:
3 sessions for $300
PLEASE NOTE: The costs outlined above are for single dogs. If multiple dogs are involved that will be a case by case decision.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will meet with the client for the initial session. All aspects of the dog/ owner relationship will be examined. A set of goals and expectations will be agreed to. We all get to work to create the dog that fits your lifestyle!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 40 years ars of hands on training experience. This includes basic obedience to advanced dog sports.I have certified dogs for Search and Rescue, service dogs, and therapy dogs. I have also placed multiple dogs in personal protection both in the states and Dominican Republic. My personal dog is Schutzhund titled and I have trained multiple Schutzhund dogs for clients. I work with the American Working Dog Club for all my certifications.
