FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A) You pay for all materials up front. This way you pay me for my time and skills not a mark up on the stuff you use. I do shop for you but I need about $13 an hour to do this. since all you pay me for is my time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Would you believe a Bachelor's degree in environmental science, an associate's degree in electronic. I have a few years experience for plumbing and electrical work. My favorite Industrial plant maintenance mechanic. So yep lot of mechanical aptitude here.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Easy one, my wife of 15 years used a wheelchair. Many places we lived did not have any accessibility modifications. So I did them. I built walkways, ramps, and even widened doorways. Which by law anyone can do. Now if you live in a rental unit you are responsible for removing modifications when you move.
