FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is fairly simple: $20/hr with a 2 hr minimum plus the cost of food. An initial consultation is performed to assess available cooking equipment and finalize a menu/purchase list. Some clients (using EBT) may buy the groceries as long as all items listed are purchased. I will travel within 30 minute drive of Wichita, Ks city limits.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied the culinary arts at The Arts Institute also, as a relief chef at various area kitchens, I regularly work with Wichita's best chefs who keep me update on new trends
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This started as a tribute to my mother and grandmother. Over time, it has become a tribute to all mothers from all cultural backgrounds. My primary focus is "comfort foods" that "mama" used to make no matter where you are from (i.e. Texas, New Orleans, Japan, Nigeria, Barbados, Chicago)
