Introduction: I believe that a friendly, energetic personality is key to being a great portrait photographer. It's also important to be able to read people and understand what they're about in order to make them completely comfortable with their photography experience. I like seeing people's faces light up when they see themselves in my pictures. For many people, seeing themselves in photographs is a point of contention. It's my job to show them that they can look incredible in photos.

From 2010-2014, I attended McPherson College with Ms. Elizabeth Petropulos. During this time, she was ever present in and around our theater department. She was constantly assisting with costume design, costume assembly, make up design and application, scenic painting, hanging lights, and set assembly. She is punctual, intelligent, and a delight to be around. She always puts forth 110% effort with any project that she works on, and she is passionate about all of the projects she works on. Her quality of work is always of the highest she can produce, and she isn't afraid to ask questions to clarify the parts of projects she isn't sure of. In order to be even better in the future, I feel she simply needs to continue to further her experiences in the professional field by gaining new work opportunities. She excels in photography, make up design and application, as well as costume assembly. I hope you consider her for jobs that her qualifications meet due to her high integrity, dedication, hard work, and bright personality.

Elizabeth was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was incredibly patient with us as she worked her camera to get perfect shots, often times without us even being aware that she was getting that perfect "pose." I didn't realize how breathtaking they would be until I saw them. Elizabeth really has a great eye for a beautiful shot, and we will treasure the photos. I loved that Elizabeth was able to capture the emotions between us and was willing to work with us as we became more comfortable with being photographed. Also, huge kudos to the turn around time! Once we chose the photos we really liked (which was difficult, because there were many!) she edited the photos lickety split and we had the finished product ready to print. Elizabeth's patience, professionalism, skill, and artistic eye were all deeply appreciated. Her photography is highly recommended and I would certainly hire her again!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing is $30.00 per hour for portraits, headshots, and senior pictures. For weddings, the price is $60.00 per hour. The customer pays for prints and I have a $15.00 copyright release fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to meet the customer, maybe for coffee, and discuss what's important for them in their pictures. I like to get a feel for the customer's personality and likes and dislikes. From there, I like to plan the photoshoot; pick backgrounds, outfits, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do a lot of research through the internet and such, but I don't pursue any schooling.
