Was looking for a plumber on a Saturday due to a backed up line. As soon as I typed our plumbing problem into the system I Received a response back in less than a minute with price estimate and he would be right there to help! I asked him to give us 20min and he was right on time! Gave me suggestions on what to do to prevent sewer backing up again, cleaned main line in back yard, 2hrs of removing roots at a Bargain price! Thank You & Bless You Charles for coming to our Rescue!

Picture this. Your daughter is getting ready to bring your new grandson home from the hospital with in the matter of hours. You have in laws, friends and family packed in the house waiting. I go to the bathroom and notice a horrible smell I look in the tub and see sewage... yuck! I’m freaking out!!! I call a few plumbing company’s and they can’t make it out until the next day!!! I can’t have that! I called the Butler and talked to a wonderful lady Tara (so sweet thank you). She said we are pretty busy but let me see what can do. She calls me back with in 5 mins and says they are on their way! Yes!! Maury and John showed up and ready to take care of my problem. I kept apologizing for being so frazzled. They assured me that I wasn’t and couldn’t have my new grandson coming home to this!! Turned my crazy day into a blessed one. Thank you all so much.

I was pleased with the job Todd Weber of Tozzies Drain cleaning did in replacing a collapsed sewer drain for my rental house. He was fast, got all the permits needed and was $800 cheaper then a quote from Reddi Root'r. He got his part done in one day and got the drain connected that night so that the tenants could use the bathroom. The city came the next morning to connect it to the city line and then he filled in the trench and reconnected my chain-link fence.

Hahn Plumbing & Drain Cleaning is definitely the best plumbing company experience that I have ever had! He was extremely helpful in explaining the problem and all budget options for solving it in ways that a non-plumber could grasp. His punctuality, speed, and high quality service make him my go-to plumbing expert for my rental property and my home.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What are plumbers and what do they do?

Plumbers are skilled professionals who are trained to install and maintain pipes and systems for drinking water, sewage and drainage. They usually have trained through four- to five-year training programs, which include apprenticeships, via trade schools and community colleges. Plumbers’ areas of expertise typically go beyond pipes to include mathematics, blueprint reading, plumbing codes and water distribution. They handle plumbing emergencies, such as broken pipes or clogged drains, and install and maintain everything from a new piping system to a replacement faucet. Plumbers also know how to install bathtubs and showers, toilets, water heaters and dishwashers. Plumbers may work on residential or commercial sites, sometimes designing and laying out a pipe system during construction.

How do you find a good plumber?

Whether you need a plumber to perform drain repair, install a new fixture, or replace rusty pipes, you need to make sure you hire someone reliable who will finish your job on time and within budget. Start by asking the plumbers on your short list these questions:

    • What is the total cost? Make sure your estimate includes materials and labor. Find out whether the plumber will be providing the materials and whether you’re being charged an hourly rate (which is variable) or a flat fee.
    • Is removal and cleanup included in the job? Some plumbers leave behind old parts, while others include the cleanup in the cost.
    • Is the work guaranteed? Find out whether the work (as well as the parts or fixtures) are guaranteed under a warranty.
