FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have found that the more I know, the more I realize I don't know. I am constantly attending workshops and seminars to further my art and technical skills. I have found, however, that all of the "book learning" in the world is not enough. Nothing can replace real-life, practical experience to enhance my skills. I have been capturing images for over 50 years including John F. Kennedy and Princess Dianna.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
It's an interesting range of work that I do. If I am involved in a product or architectural session, it's mainly a technical issue such as correct lighting or composition. If I am involved on a personal level such as weddings or portraiture, then personalities and conveying a story or trait become important.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Costs are important however, don't base your decisions solely on cost. Cheap is cheap. Will the lowest priced person give you the quality you want? Will they be there next week or out of "business"? Are they covered for liability or non-performance? Is it truly a business or just a hobby? On the other end of the price range is Expensive. Are you paying a premium for a name or a reputation? There are many good photographers in the middle price range. Check them out. Check with their previous or existing clients. Get the best bang for your buck.
