- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system isn't complicated, but it IS different for every client. I do not have set wedding packages because I build what the client wants. For senior portraits for example you probably don't need the standard packages so we build one perfect for you. For portrait sittings there is a standard $20 sitting fee. That's the only thing the same with each package.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always check their work. You have to know the take the photographer uses, are they candid or posed? Do they pay attention to the details. Nothing speaks louder than their previous work
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There is a ton of work that can go into making professional portraits. When you work a wedding not only is there the several shooting hours but there are countless hours after that sorting, editing, and finishing. There is much more to a good photographer than people know.
