Absolutely a wonderful experience with this company! He and his assistant provided a friendly, fun environment with all the music throughout the entire night! The photo booth was a huge hit with the guests and his ability to be Master of the Ceremony was such a benefit! From the time he started, he provided a smooth transition from one event to another. Without a doubt I will only use All About The Rave for any and all events going forward! Thank you DJ Rick for a very memorable and beautiful night, you are the best!

Lori and George were wonderful to work with and really put a lot of effort into the little details that make the night special! In addition to that their timeline and schedule really made me think of everything I wanted, and things that I wanted, that I didn't even realize needed planning! I was continuously surprised and happy with everything their package came with!

Two years ago we were looking for a piano teacher for our nine-year-old son in Cincinnati. The College Conservatory of Music (CCM) at the University of Cincinnati, where I was doing my PhD, recommended Dr. Jessica Madsen. A year or so later, she started teaching our 4-year-old daughter Lara, too. I can frankly say that Jessica has been one of the best things that ever happened to us in this city. Our son Ian is into computer and video games, plays sports, has a relatively short attention span and is not known for his discipline and follow-through. I thought that piano would be just a transitory pastime for him. However, we have been impressed by the passion he has developed for the instrument and classical music in general. Without much reminding, he will sit at the piano and play not only his homework but also any piece he has heard and liked. Playing from memory and improvising are now part of his daily practice. Dr. Madsen is, in my opinion, an outstanding musical pedagogue. Her students adore her, and her house is always full of pupils, parents, and siblings. Over the past couple of years, I got to know her socially as well. She is worldly, well-read, open-minded and good-humored. I have attended quite of few of her concerts, many of which were fundraisers for noble causes. Thus I met a lot of interesting people among her audience, and her inner circle of colleagues and friends. From a parent’s perspective, Jessica is patient, but persistent, and possesses the rare talent of bringing the best out of her students. She really succeeded in motivating our kids and helping them stay focused. Most of all, Dr. Madsen opened a whole new world of competing, winning and achieving to them. Ian did very well at the Royal Conservatory of Music exam, won a gold medal at the Ohio Music Teachers Association (MTA) Auditions Festival at CCM, and a second place and a Complete Concerto Award at the 2014 Tri-State Piano Concerto Competition (TSPCC), which qualified him to play with a professional string quartet at the Winners Concert and Awards Ceremony. It is worth noting that Jessica’s students occupied the top places at the TSPCC. We are moving to England this summer and, during our look-and-see trip, Ian had the opportunity to show off his piano skills at four independent (private) schools, where he received a tremendous ovation from the pupils and earned high praise from the music teachers. Jessica graciously offered her help in finding a piano teacher for our children in London through her professional network. In sum, I would recommend Dr. Madsen wholeheartedly and without any reservation.

We hired Candygram for our wedding and they did a FANTASTIC job!! They were great and very easy to work with before the wedding, but they completely over-delivered on the night of the event. They sounded great and were so high energy, the dance floor was packed all night. We would definitely recommend them!!

Nick and his band are fantastic. The band is comprised of professional musicians who will "wow" you and your guests with their talent and showmanship. In addition to being great musicians, they offer a great blend of 3 part harmony. They play a huge variety of music, are willing to accommodate special requests and Nick is super responsive in his communication. I highly recommend the Nick Netherton Band.

We asked Matt W. and his band to play our wedding reception this past August. It couldn't have gone better. Matt was responsive to my emails, arrived on-time, and set up with no issues. I hadn't expected country music to get people dancing as much as it did, but he kept the dance floor packed for four straight hours. They put on an awesome show for us. Thank you again, Matt!

About

The No Name Band is a local Cincinnati classic rock band that has been together for four years; it is a good one, loud and fun! We are comprised of 2 guitars, bass, drums and a new addition that unfortunately, does not yet appear on the website, keyboards (Dan Henning), with three of us also being vocalists. We are all former full-time professional musicians, now with successful business careers but found ourselves a few years ago, missing our music. So, we've decided to get together and form the No Name Band with the desire to work with energetic groups and charity non-profit fund raisers like you. You can see from our website that we only play about 8-10 outdoor events per year and are able to provide our own equipment. We are a lively band with a lot of energy and fun, with a great big sound. Our song list ranges from the '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s, from the Beatles, Santana, Stones to Steely Dan and the Allman Brothers. We are well suited for events, ranging in size from 250 people to 3,000 people. It takes us approximately three hours to set up in advance of the event and one and a half hours to tear down at the end of the event. We require a covered stage due to the amount of equipment involved. Our fee structure runs from $500.00 to $1,200.00, depending on the event size, and we have donated our services for charity fundraisers. If you like good rock n roll, we're your band. Contact Mark Owens, the drummer.
