- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
50% deposit on signing of contract. Then the following installments vary, usually 25% on completion of framing and the remaining 25% on completion to your satisfaction.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
On initial phone contact we will set an appointment to come and see you. At that appointment I will give you an estimate (or a few days later if it is a more unusual project). After acceptance of the estimate, I will draw up a basic contract outlining my commitment to you to get the project done in the right way. Then we will set an appointment for signing, payment of the deposit and setting a starting date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in residential carpentry since mid-2018, 1 year employed 3 years self-employed. Thousands of hours of careful research in code compliance, technical manuals and the proper industry standards and procedures.
