Dancing with Dani

I am a professional dancer who has danced professionally with ballet companies, on board Celebrity Cruises and toured the U.S. with the Utah Ballroom Dance Company. I have a B.F.A. in Dance from The University of California - Irvine and I have been teaching and coaching for over 10 years all over the U.S.. Some of my former students have won national dance competitions in ballet, jazz and song - pom and some are now dancing professionally including several as NFL cheerleaders. I also work with people on their wedding dance and hold group classes for the bridal party (Check out more information on wedding dances by following @FirstDanceLexington on Instagram or head to the website). If you are looking for a fitness routine I also teach barre (mixture of pilates, yoga, and ballet exercises -- certified in the BarreAmped method), and bounce (rebounder: mini trampoline great for high cardio low impact) fitness classes -- along with dance fitness or dance technique. I have worked with students from ages 3 to 88. It is never too late to start dancing or working out :) I can bring my own barre, music, and expertise to your house providing a customized workout for you from the comfort of your home (living room, garage, even outside)! If space is an issue we can discuss other locations at studios, or even online. I love figuring out how people learn. It is so rewarding to see someone learn a new dance move and feel confident doing so! I love hearing their stories about how to go out and show their friends and family what they have learned!
