Douglas was prompt and came at stated time. They did a good job power washing my house. He did a good job sanding and painting my front door and shutters. They cleaned up after painting. I would recommend them for power washing and exterior painting.

Douglas called soon after we posted on Thumbtack that we were interested in getting someone to paint our house that we recently purchased. Douglas met us the next day and submitted his estimate. We decided to go with him later that evening. He was able to start the project the next day and finished in 2 1/2 days. Since we are not living in the house yet, Douglas kept us posted on his progress by sending pictures. We are pleased with his work and would recommend him.
Details: Home • 8+ rooms • Walls • 8 - 10 feet (standard ceiling) • Repainting, with same color • Fair - minor holes and scratches • No, this is not new construction • No, I will move things out of the way myself • Owner

My wife & I decided it was time to have the house exterior painted. As usual when faced with a project too big for me to take on, I reached out to several contractors (six, to be exact), to solicit bids. As usual, I received replies from half and was ignored by the rest. Although the price is a factor, it is not always the deciding factor for us. We need to feel comfortable with whomever we hire for the job. Such was the case here. We immediately felt comfortable with Douglas Canales. Much more so than the other contractors who responded. We found Douglas to be friendly, courteous and well prepared. He was honest and candid as we discussed with him the work we wanted done. If a task wasn’t within his expertise, he told us so. He explained to our satisfaction the scope of the work he would do, the materials he would use and why, and the time frame in which he could finish the job. Douglas and his crew completed the job exactly as he told us. There were no surprises. He and his crew displayed a high level of knowledge and competency and demonstrated an exemplary work ethic. My wife and I were completely satisfied with the job and would gladly hire Douglas again. We highly recommend Douglas Canales to anyone needing a professional painter.

Douglas and his crew were wonderful from beginning to end. Douglas reached out quickly to schedule a visit for an estimate and then worked with me to get the paint job done as soon was feasible. The crew arrived more than on time, was professional, and delivered satisfactory results. Throughout the day, Douglas kept me updated on progress, and he went above and beyond to get my ceiling and staircase painted. I couldn’t be happier with the work and will definitely hire Canales Painting again whenever I need a professional painter to step in.

Douglas was amazing to meet with. He responded to my inquiry within 30 minutes and was able to come and provide a quote that day. When we are ready to move forward with our project, we found our painter.
