FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard rates for pricing apply; please see our website for details. The general rates are: $12/hr of video (rounded to the nearest 1/2 hour), $0.60/ea per slide, and $0.29/ea for photos (less than 5 x 7"). Volume discounts are available for large jobs. Call to review the details of your job to determine if discounts apply. For out of town jobs, the Customer pays the shipping (both ways). The Customer should include a check for 1/2 of the estimated price with the shipment. Call or text to determine a rough estimate of the cost for your job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process will involve a call with the Customer to review the details of the job and determine an estimated price for the job. The Customer will then package the media and send it to PandaPix for processing. Upon receipt, PandaPix will acknowledge receipt of the job, and provide an estimate for completion. As the job is completed, PandaPix will provide thumbnails and/or montages of selected files. The digitized files will be burned to DVDs (videos), or data DVDs (photos, slides). Where possible, these files will be made available via Google Drive. When the job is complete, PandaPix will advise the Customer of the remaining balance. The Customer may pay using PayPal or a check. Once the balance has been paid, the original media and digital files will be shipped back to the Customer.
