Introduction: PLEASE VIEW OUR 31 FIVE-STAR REVIEWS ON GOOGLE. We work for Clients in any state. All work is done online. We charge $60 an hour for our time designing the Client's construction blueprints. A typical new home plan takes us roughly 40 to 60 hours to complete. We also design home remodeling projects. What sets me apart from most other Draftsmen is I was a home builder and remodeler for 36+ years. I have worked on and overseen residential and commercial projects. We are a CAD Designer service, we produce CAD Drawings. A lot of the Draftsmen can draw up blueprints on a CAD program but they do not have any actual job site experience on how a house is actually built. We can draw up architectural blueprint plans for anyone in the United States. My past experience has been buying big residential homes and renovating them into apartments. I bought houses and remodeled them in order to sell them or rent them out. I have designed and built lower-level or basement mother-in-law suites from scratch in homes. I have design blueprints and construction documents for new homes, house additions, and apartment buildings. The biggest project that I have drawn up blueprints for and built was a 23-unit apartment complex in Louisville, KY. I have years of experience in property management, new home builds, and remodeling existing structures commercial and residential. I did all of my own drafting blueprints for some of these properties in order to obtain building permits. I have been a residential and commercial builder, home remodeler, and draftsman for 36 years. I have been a construction job site superintendent on residential and commercial projects. I have the latest computer drafting program. I can draw up 3D blueprint renderings for any of my Clients so they can obtain the necessary building permits. The above information has been my past experiences, up until February 2018. As of 2018, I am a full-time Architectural Draftsman and Designer.

We recently used Residential Draftsman Service and I highly recommend Dan to anyone considering these services. Some architects/engineers charge nearly $150 per hour so his rate is not only a great value but his help is outstanding. He is always quick to reply and obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. Dan even came out to the property to view the lay of the land which helped me determine the placement of the house on the land. We also appreciated his communication and advice with questions and decisions that were new to us. We now have our final drawings and hope to start building this winter.

You were always open to suggestions from me. You are right most architects and engineers charge between $100 and $150 per hour. One of the main reasons I charge $50 an hour is I stay busier than them and I can get the work out faster than them. Thank you again for allowing me to draw up your new house blueprints.

We called Residential Draftsman Service to draw up blueprints for a new home build. Dan answered all our questions before we hired him. He had some great suggestions that would save us on material cost. We worked with him for several days and the communication between us was great. When we emailed him after 10PM with questions he always emailed us back within 10 to 15 minutes with the answers. We would recommend his service to anyone. We are going to use him again on the next house build in a few months.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We work for all clients in any state. All work will be performed by email. The client never has to come into the office. The potential client will call us and we will ask them related questions about their project. They will email us a basic floor plan of the project that they are wanting us to design for them. We will email them their first rough floor plan layout in 1 to 3 days from the time that they have contacted us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
36+ years of hands-on actually remodeling homes and blueprint drawings on residential homes. When someone wants to be a draftsman they go to college for that in order to learn the latest 3D CAD computer programs. But after they are out of college they don't have any hands-on experience with how a house is actually built.
