- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My initial consultation is always free. I charge $60.00 per hour for each 1 Hour training session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to give a free phone consultation first to get an idea what we will be addressing, and then create a personalized training plan to address the issues we have decided to work on. All dogs are individuals, so it's important to address their needs with their unique history and upbringing in mind to ensure the best possible outcome.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've trained hundreds of dogs professionally over the last few years as a behavior assistant at a local shelter and as a private in-home trainer. I have also taught/assisted group classes as a part of my ongoing education. I have had several credits toward my certification as an Canine Behavior specialist through ABI (the Animal Behavior Institute). I am currently studying for my certification as a (CPDT-KA) certified professional dog trainer (knowledge assessed). I am also enrolled in the Karen Pryor Academy "Puppy Start Right" course, and will begin the KPA professional training certification program in January.
