- How did you get started doing this type of work?
every weekend, every summer, spring, fall and Christmas break, every night after school as a kid with my uncles and father. every job I've worked, and every trade I worked, I always learned the ropes because I always knew my time was coming one day as im a grown man with a awesome wife, and 5 children, that all of my knowledge within would be there start of my company. some say stick with one thing, and never quit it. yeah to me all that experience is a waste of time if I don't provide it all as my duties to provide great service, 1 job my company's painting houses beautiful work, the next we're building houses, remodeling kitchens & bathrooms my customers call me for all there needs, and they know that I'll always be there. I have employees with many talents just like me, pool guys, tee guys, roofers, drywallers, landscapers, tile guys, HVAC LICENSED guys licensed plumbers, certified painters, the best carpentry wood working man in the state of Kentucky, concrete guys, siding, gutters, windows, doors, if it's connected to your home I have the experience as well so do all of my guys who work for me. I even have house & business/ office cleaners. so let's just say I did actually stick to one thing, providing professional great & honest service at very reasonable prices instead of being the guy who breaks your bank over 1 job, and that's why all my customers refer me as well call me on a routine bases.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I've met handfuls of guys who say they can paint, install lights etc. but I have only met a few that take pride in there work. and keep it professional, clean, honest & respectful.. my advice is dont waste your time or money trying to hire the neighbor hood painter that you have to wonder weather or not he's gonna show up. or better yet ask for upfront money before he even has a game plan laid out and jobs in action. anyone can go to home depot and provide a phone sale if they need materials and cant put up there money at the moment. a professional will have a credit account. which I have a major credit account with sherwin Williams for my interior & exterior painting clients. as far as lumber and other house hold materials, I always put back money from each job to cover the work I provide. if you get a bill from me before the jobs complete its because I bill in increments and 50% - 75% of the work is complete and it's possible that I have to pause on that type of work due to weather. that very seldomly happens. cause I have several employees and can always bring in more as needed to finish up in a timely manor. so my advice dont hire Jack down the street cause he painted or fixed a couple pieces of gutters hanging loose. hire the professional who comes correct respectful & honest.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
am I hiring the right candidate, to provide services in my home? are they honest? dependable? and will they complete the assigned procedure? will they be clean as they work in my home with new floors? are they going to cover up my brand new carpet before working? @ Rock solid remodeling & construction yes, most definitely we will be and do all of the above questions you may wonder, without needing you to ask us. we will provide 100% honesty & be 100% respectful as well provide the upmost best service possible to make sure when we part ways after the job you are 100% satisfied with my company and my employees. guaranteed
