- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The main thing I want them to know is I am very up front with my pricing. when I give you a quote, I honor it. but if we run into an issue on the job. I will stop progress, address the situation with the homeowner, and move on after their approval NO SURPRISES!!! ALSO , we offer a 10% discount on labor for military members and seniors as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
first step: I TAKE MEASUREMENTS, GET TOGETHER A MATERIAL LIST, AND DOUBLE CHECK THAT ALL THE NUMBERS ARE MATCHING ORIGINAL PLAN. second step:. MEET CUSTOMER AT LOWES/HOME DEPOT, THEY PAY FOR MATERIAL DIRECTLY (WITH MY CONTRACTORS DISCOUNT) THEN I HELP WITH DELIVERY. THIRD STEP:. INSTALL WHATEVER IT IS THAT NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED , THE RIGHT WAY. THEN CLEAN UP MY MESS FROM THE ENTIRE SITE. THEN WALK THOUGH THE JOB WITH THE HOMEOWNER SO THEY CAN SEE EVERYTHING BEFORE COLLECTING PAYMENT.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
have an associate s degree from Jefferson community and technical college in business. also have had on the job training in every trade from master (carpenters, plumbers, framers, tilers, painters, anything else) all my life. (for the past 16 years non-stop.
