- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually have a client read and sign a contract. For brides I charge $100 and that includes both the day of and trial run. Mother of bride and mother of groom are $50. Bridesmaids are $25 and junior brides are 15 ( 13-18 yrs ). Flower girls are complimentary (4-12) (2 girls max) lashes are an additional $8.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I am constantly learning new tricks of the trade to stay in trend for the season. I take a seasonal seminar twice a year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I really didn't. I started working in a retail store and was given the opportunity to work for a cosmetic line. I really enjoyed doing makeovers and met with a fellow wedding makeup artist and traveled with her as her assistant. Everything else just fell into place.
