- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based off of the number of servings, but primarily the amount of work involved in the design of the cake. When it comes to 3D cakes, they can only be made so small. So even though you may only need it to feed 10 people it may feed more than that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I travel within and outside of Kentucky to take classes from celebrity cake designers to learn new techniques and to brush up on my skills. I strive to have perfect cakes as well as staying with the trends. This industry is constantly changing and pushing the limits so I have to continue to learn new things to stay current.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted a challenge and I wanted to be able to use my creativity on a daily basis.
