Introduction: I could use this space to tell you the same thing that every other trainer will tell you on here. Instead I’ll tell you what makes me different. I am a Marine Corps combat veteran and my training style emulates the hardcore nature of the Marines and Spartans. All training sessions will be held in my garage gym. You will receive my FULL one on one support and attention with nothing else going on in the gym. It will just be you, me, and the work. I work with my clients between 2 and 4 sessions a week. I do not offer one off sessions as I believe in making a difference and one session here and there won’t cut it. If you’re looking for the latest and greatest high tech equipment, you won’t find that here. What you will find here is results. I will push you up to your perceived barriers and through them. I only work with those that are willing to put in the work. You will be expected to put in some work on your own as well. Don’t worry though, I will provide the programming. Athletes love me. As I can provide sport specific training to take you to the next level. But so does the mom or dad that just wants a higher quality of life. My training is designed to make you stronger, faster, leaner, and better. Not only will you get to physically fit, you will also develop mental toughness which will carry over to all other areas of your life. I also offer military, veteran, police, fire, EMT discounts.

I had wanted to join the military when I was 18 years old, but I weighed 300 pounds and didn’t believe in myself. 7 years later, I had lost 100 pounds through diet changes and realized it wasn’t too late for me to become a Marine. I started running and doing push-ups and sit-ups trying to get in shape for enlistment. It didn’t take long for me to realize I needed help from an expert. It takes more than running, push-ups and sit-ups to prepare for enlistment with the United States Marine Corps. That’s when I found Tommy on Thumbtack. He is a Marine Veteran and an ACE certified personal trainer with the kind of knowledge and experience I had been seeking. Upon our initial consultation, he openly and honestly explained to me that he didn’t have the fanciest equipment, but that he could guarantee results if I put in the work. Knowing that I also had no fancy equipment (or the knowledge to do it alone), I decided to move forward with training. I wasn’t disappointed. Within my first month of working with Tommy, I had lost 12 pounds! But the number on the scale wasn’t the only change I experienced. I started flexing in the mirror more often admiring the changes that were happening right before my eyes. Fat was turning into muscle; visible muscle. A change I had not seen before with my diets and going to the gym alone. Tommy does well with balance. Each time I complete a new exercise, my confidence rises. He pushes me past my limits, but he doesn’t push too hard causing me to feel like giving up. Every week I push myself further than I ever imagined I could, and it’s almost impossible to describe what it does to your self esteem. My mind is growing with my muscles. If you’re looking for results, I recommend hiring Tommy as your personal fitness trainer!

I’ve been training with Tommy for the past month and a half for my Air Force Academy Candidate Fitness Assessment. We started with a short amount of time to reach some very lofty goals, but now I am more than confident that I’ll be able to pass my test. Tommy brings his experience from serving in the US Marines to playing with the Atlanta Braves into your fitness journey. My journey started off with 25-30% body fat, low strength, little endurance, and recovering from a broken ankle. Tommy has worked with me to build up my strength, conditioning, rebuilding my ankle and the results have come faster than I imagined. Tommy gives me workout material for the days we don’t meet.     I work with clients between 2 and 5 days per week. On top of that I offer FULL program design.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Before any money is exchanged we will have a 30 minute meeting and assessment where we will determine your goals followed by a 30 minute training session where we will determine your current fitness level so that I can build the proper program for you.

    The United States Marine Corps as well as an ACE personal training certification.
