She developed and implemented standards and services for providing enterprise-wide information technology services. Ms. Phillips assisted departments in determining information technology needs as well as budgeting. She coordinated with customer support, applications support, network infrastructure and data center to ensure customer expectations were defined, clearly communicated, and satisfied. Ms. Phillips project managed the patient access department redesign of a three hospital organization and achieved the following benefits: * implemented a quality assurance plan to reduce R days through reducing denials and rework * improved the quality and volume of preregistrations and certifications in clinics and ancillaries * developed a solid infrastructure in the department through standardization across all three user facilities * improved department pride, morale, and image through training, standards and empowerment Project benefits included an increase in the average of preregistered accounts from less than 500 to 4077 per month, bridged communications between PFS and PS departments, and technical denials reduction from a $12 million monthly total to a $1.5 million monthly total achieved within six months. Ms. Phillips redesigned a hospice program structure through assessment, revenue cycle process improvement, including insurance follow-up strategies and development of program metrics. She implemented system recommendations, including software enhancements and process alignment with existing technology. Ms. Phillips project managed a reduction of accounts receivable of $62 million at a three hospital organization with an ADR of $4 million through the following scope of work: identified opportunities to optimize the system utilization in order to eliminate manual processes.
