Time for a new roof? Ugh, you may be thinking to yourself, I DO NOT want to go through an arduous process, lengthy sales pitch, or "buy now and save $1000"s" when choosing a roofing company. Save yourself the headache and contact Beams Roofing & Contracting. They are fair, competitively priced and provide SUPERB service all around! We found Gary Hammerbacher to be honest, prompt, pleasant, friendly and straightforward. He and Wes Beams provided a detailed estimate of costs in a professional, courteous, quick manner. Although we were not ready to do the roof at the time of the estimate, Gary kept in touch periodically (in a non annoying way) to see if we had any questions, had set a date, etc...I assured him BEAMS would have our business and I meant it!
When we were ready to schedule, Gary came to the house and we went over every detail of the contract, provided a deposit, selected shingles and a flat roof color from a WIDE RANGE of colors and options, and a few days later Gary contacted us as soon as he knew the project would begin. "Homer Hauls it" delivered the dumpster early, (super nice guys also). Same morning Gary was punctual, super friendly and introduced us to the crew, led my a very knowledgeable crew leader named Alfonso and the crew got to work. TOP DOG says it all, this TEAM ARE WORKHORSES! I cannot say enough good things about the work they did in just 2 and a half days! From start to finish they worked their butt off. The tear off is messy, but you would never know it to look at our yard, the clean-up is meticulous! Throughout the entire process Gary was always communicating with us via phone, text or here onsite to see if we were satisfied, had any questions, or to keep us updated on the progress. (not the disappearing salesman we've all met!) That said, we have a beautiful new roof in St. Pete. I would recommend Beams Roofing without hesitation!! Save yourself some time and agony, just call them!

I had great experience working with Gary from Beams Roofings & Contracting. I was in market for two roof replacements in the Tampa area and was not having any luck getting a serious reasonable quote on the two homes. I just got a new roof on my small cottage in Clearwater. I was replacing an old roof that needed a fair amount of repair. Beams did a great job. Gary is a true pro who knows his stuff. He is responsive, courteous and very knowledgeable. He did what he said he was going to do- on time and of great quality. You’ll always get a return call promptly. I would use Beams and Gary again without hesitation. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

Always get at least three estimates. Beware, that due to material pricing estimates may be more if you got an estimate two to three months ago.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Make the customer feel confident on chosen the right contractor. Go over the contract in detail and make sure what is in the contract is what you are getting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 31 years of experience. After college, I started out working for a roofing distributor for 8 years. Then, I started my own company in 1999. I have worked in residential and commercial doing everything from shingles, modified, tile and single-ply TPO and PVC.
