I stand out because I not only have the photography experience, I also have the business experience as well. I have an understanding that in order to thrive in this industry I must find the balance between the creative mindset and the business one. I have been taking pictures for over 6 years and each year I have decided to embark in new photography fields that I've never been in. So far I have taken pictures for local gyms, restaurants, real-estate companies, and other local and non-local businesses. I specialize in family, birthing and newborn sessions. Overall I enjoy all of the different genres of photography because they each give me a new experience to express my vision and love for life through the eyes of a lens. I enjoy being able to provide a service for people that can benefit someone else's life. Whether it is for business purposes or personal, I think that pictures are the most important way for us to document our own lives. Life is constantly flying by and it is important for people to take the time to remember what's important. There's a quote that I love by Aaron Siskind that says, “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” I can't imagine a greater feeling than knowing that I personally have had the opportunity to capture and return a moment for someone to cherish forever.
