Introduction: Destination & Intimate wedding photojournalist. For the adventurous. the wildly in love. the fun lovers. art appreciators. There is a gap in the wedding industry. Brides and couples who value weddings a ton, but don't quite fall into "luxury" weddings because they are honestly SO BORING and overly complicated. but they love THEIR wedding and want to make it as special and fun as possible. Christi is an amazing photographer! She has such a great eye and made us feel so comfortable in front of the lens. She collaborated with us on shots we really wanted and caught all the details throughout the entire day! 3yrs later and I still am in awe of how beautifully she captured our wedding day, and whenever I look at our album I truly feel like I'm experiencing it all over again. I highly recommend The Picture People to anyone who wants quality, worry free and beautiful photos!

We have had Christi photograph for us on several occasions over the years and we have always been more than satisfied. She really knows what angle will make you look your best as well as keeping color and creative structure to a photograph. Christi has done our engagement, wedding, newborn and our 2 year old's birthday party photos. She is awesome at doing large gatherings and events all the way down to personal portraits, I totally recommend Christi for any photography work!

Christi is the absolute best. I adore each and every photo she gave us after our engagement shoot! She made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable behind the camera! She's so easy to work with and easy to get in touch with. The photos were definitely not over photoshopped and they looked very natural. I can't stop looking at all of the photos over and over again because I'm shocked at how wonderful they are! I am looking forward to working with Christi every chance I get! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing photographer who knows how to truly capture the moment and the emotion!

Christi was amazing! She made my fiancé and I feel really comfortable in front of the camera. She took so many photos in a bunch of different settings, and traveled from Baton Rouge to New Orleans to meet us in City Park. She has such a great eye for catching the perfect shot. Overall it was an amazing afternoon! Her pricing and service is great and I can't wait to work with her again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm not a budget photographer. In the sense that, if you are just shopping for the cheapest deal, I'm not your girl. But if you feel my vibes and the laid back wedding philosophy, I would be happy to talk about creating custom wedding packages for you!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
first up: Facetime date!
What types of customers have you worked with?
typically my clients are working professionals in their late 20's or early 30's. Couples who travel a ton, who work hard and play hard. The majority of my clientele are based out of San Francisco, Portland, Seattle or NYC, and are having a destination wedding. If you want to have a built-in privacy clause for your wedding to protect yourself and your guests let me know!! I do that allll the time
