FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always following blogs and website of other photographers. I follow photographers who impact me with their images and I learn from what they're doing to try and make my images impact people as well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am an artistic person. I play music, write, etc. I had been interested in photography for a long time before I actually started. But I wanted to be able to tell stories with a camera. The kind of pictures I love tell a story, and I wanted to be able to do that as well. So I didn't jump out and just start taking pictures. I started trying to tell stories with my camera. And at first all of those stories were about my kids, hahahaha.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The chef was particularly cool. It was a tight space in the kitchen and not all that cool of a kitchen. But shooting him in action was cool. Plus he wasn't crazy about being in front of a camera, but I think I got him to open up and take some pretty cool pictures.
