I've had the pleasure of working with Brock at two different publications. When I was the entertainment editor at the Independent Florida Alligator, he frequently contributed news and feature stories on topics ranging from music to technology. His pieces were always turned in before deadline without fail. He was one of the most reliable, talented writers on my team. Luckily, our paths crossed again at Orange and Blue Magazine. There, I found out how incredibly determined and passionate he is as a writer. Despite multiple dead ends, Brock chased a story about a 9-year-old violinist who played on a street corner downtown. Although difficult to obtain, Brock's 3-page feature turned out to be one of the highlights of our issue. I definitely recommend working with him.
