Darren Trentacosta is a dream come true. He even worked with us through a tropical storm! To start, Darren contacted me immediately after I reached out to him. It was clear from the start that he was a true professional. After getting preliminary information about the wedding, Darren started asking questions about us (bride/groom) noting that he wanted to know a little bit about the people with whom he was about to work. I'm a Louisiana native, and it was truly a joy to speak with someone from "home" who knew the culture, people, and mannerisms. I was trying to coordinate a small wedding in NOLA from the Midwest, and Darren was great enough to check out the venue (I'd never seen it in person). Funny enough, he was also booked to photograph two other weddings at the same venue. The actual wedding day did not go as planned. Tropical Storm Cindy promised to hit NOLA and we -- and our guests could not make it down/in for our planned ceremony. Darren, however, was there when we finally did arrive a few days later and with only a handful of guests. No worries, though. Even without a Second Line and Mardi Gras Indians, and all of our other guests, the photographs are great. I'd definitely work with Darren again! He's prompt, efficient, a true artist, and a great person!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding of client's need, and I do that by having a first phone call to get to know each other. Followed by a job confirmation outlining details and scheduled date. This is a very brief overview of client relations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30+ years in creative direction in Paris, Milan, NYC and now my hometown of New Orleans!
