Darren Trentacosta is a consulting creative director, strategist, and photographer with more than 38 years of international experience living and working in New York, Paris, Milan, Prague, and now his hometown of New Orleans. He attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Otis Parsons in Los Angeles, with studies focused in photography, creative directorship and fashion design. His work centers on creative development, production, execution, and image-making, with a particular focus on transforming concepts into workable long-term strategies with future growth potential. Over the years, Darren has collaborated with a diverse range of global clients, including Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, philanthropic foundations, entertainment brands, and luxury consumer markets. His experience spans workforce development programs for incarcerated women, creative writing and development for Warner Bros. Records artists including Madonna and Prince, luxury and commercial advertising photography, women’s apparel development and manufacturing, celebrity talent management artist including Cher and Ellen DeGeneres, spirits branding, reality television, and museum development.
Darren is currently in development on a documentary project in New York City and is represented in NYC by Florence Spidalieri.
Rates & Policies for local New Orleans market only:
15 Minutes — $150
Up to 5 high-resolution, professionally retouched images.
30 Minutes — $250
Up to 8 high-resolution, professionally retouched images.
45 Minutes — $325
Up to 15 high-resolution, professionally retouched images.
60 Minutes — $375
Up to 20 high-resolution, professionally retouched images.
After one hour, additional time is billed at $93 per 15 minutes, including up to 5 additional high-resolution, professionally retouched images.
Please note that these rates apply to personal, editorial, and standard event photography only. Corporate, commercial, advertising, and large-scale branded assignments are quoted separately and may be coordinated through Darren’s New York photo agent depending on project scope and usage.

• During summer months, generally May through September, outdoor coverage is limited to a maximum of two consecutive hours due to extreme New Orleans heat and humidity. Summer attire may consist of a professional polo shirt and tailored shorts, regardless of event formality.
