Introduction: Dog Gone Right is owned and operated by one of only 21 Certified Professional Dog Trainers-Knowledge Assessed in Louisiana. At our facility in Hammond, LA we offer Training, Doggie Day Care and Grooming.

Training Programs include:
Group classes for Manners Class, K9 Nose Work & Puppy Socials
Day Training – 10 Days of Training done by our certified trainer teaching all the basic obedience cues, plus more. Drop your dog off in the morning between 6:45 a.m. & 9:00 a.m.. Pick your dog up in the evening between 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. You will be given a lesson on Day 10 at pick up and are encouraged to take advantage of the additional 4 lessons that are included in the package. All dogs doing Day Training will also be entitled to Doggie Day Care while they are here for training. Day Training includes daily report cards with pictures &/or videos of your dog's stay, and videos of his training toward the end of the 10 days. All Day Training dogs receive a private lesson at pick up and an additional 4 private lessons.
Board & Train – Board & Train is done on a limited basis. Most B&T dogs are in training for approximately 21 days. These dogs learn all basic obedience behaviors, sit and wait at doors, leave-it, go to bed, up/off but also practice their skills in everyday life at home and in public. House manners, crate training and house training are also part of Board & Train. Board & Train also includes periodic reports and report cards with videos of your dog during training and play with other dogs. All Board & Train clients will receive UNLIMITED private lessons for the life of your dog on all behaviors taught by Dog Gone Right.

Carolyn, the owner, has been training dogs for over 30 years. Through her years she has worked and volunteered for St. Francis Animal Sanctuary, Louisiana SPCA, Irish Setter Club of America, Paws With A Cause and more. On-going education in the field is of utmost importance.
