FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We continually network with community pet care providers, whether it's other pet sitters & dog walkers, boarding facilities, groomers, vets, or retail shops, as well as increasing our knowledge of animal behavior & treatments so that we can be a true resource. My staff trains with a canine behaviorist quarterly, & we also review pet CPR methods as they change. If we can't provide something you need, we'll find a professional who can.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After years of volunteering in the heart-breaking field of animal rescue, it was refreshing to finally work with animals that already have a home. My team members have various stories & interests, but we're all united in our love & compassion for animals & what they can teach us.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We happily take dogs out for mid-day walks Mon-Fri in the Downtown, Uptown, Garden District, Mid-City, Broadmoor, & Lakeview areas. We also make pet-sitting visits to clients' homes morning, mid-day, & evening 7 days a week for those who are out of town or need extra help with their pets. For those who want the royal treatment, we'll also cuddle up with your pet overnight. Most commonly, we handle dogs and cats, but we also have experience caring for small animals, fish, birds, reptiles, pigs, & even wild raccoons who were in the habit of getting evening meals. We love & welcome all animals, wild or tame!
