Stacey was so wonderful with my energetic dog, Bama. She have me text updates and let me know how she was doing. She was so kind and thoughtful and really went out of her way to make sure both Bama and myself were comfortable, excited and satisfied with our service. I will definitely be using Stacey and her services again!

    Q & A

    • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fluffy and Spike's Services/Fees can be reviewed on our website at the following link: http:/fluffyandspike.com/servicesfees.html
    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After 20 plus years in corporate architecture, I was ready to trade the glass office for the great outdoors and pursue my dream of starting a pet care service business and working full-time with domestic animals. After much planning and research, I began volunteering at local shelters, fostering troubled pets, becoming Red Cross certified in pet first aid and CPR, shadowing seasoned pet care workers, joining professional pet sitting organizations and networking with NOLA's amazing community of pet sitters, dog walkers, trainers, veterinarians, catteries and kennels. I ditched my suits, put on my sneakers and voila', Fluffy and Spike was born! I love being a pet sitter and I take my responsibility very seriously.
    • How did you get started doing this type of work?
A few years back while on holiday, I was missing my funny little pets. My mind turned to their pet sitter and the amazing pet care business she'd created. How I wished to do that too! Instead of turning green with envy, I began planning: volunteering at local shelters, fostering pets, becoming Red Cross certified in pet first aid, shadowing pet care workers, joining professional pet sitting organizations and networking with NOLA's amazing pet sitters, dog walkers, trainers, veterinarians, catteries and kennels. After 20 plus years in corporate architecture, I was ready to trade the glass office for the great outdoors and pursue my dream of working full-time with pet owners and their beloved pets. I ditched my suits, put on my sneakers and voila', Fluffy and Spike was born! I love being a pet sitter and I take my responsibility very seriously.
