AS Computers has been supporting our company of more than 60 staffers. They have provided us with support via email, telephone, and for extended intervals with full-time on-site staff, and even multiple on-site staff when needed. Support has included, well, everything...: Routine day to day issues such as “my monitor went blank", "I can't reach XYZ website", "my email doesn't seem to be going out". Slightly more involved tasks such as configuring a new staffer's phone and voice-mail, and setting up their new computer so they have all necessary access to company assets. Even more involved tasks such as wiping a departing staffer's laptop and re-imaging it with one of several standard setups for different departments and different hardware. Complex tasks such as setting up and walking a new user through first-time VPN access to reach inside assets from remote - all while the staffer really is remote. Very complex tasks such as migrating our internal email services from an Exchange hosting provider to a new non-Exchange provider, reconfiguring all staffer's email clients to work smoothly during the cut-over, without interruption in service or loss of inbound email; also working closely with a new Internet service provider for our office to ensure a similarly trouble-free cut-over to a faster connection. Over the top tasks (meaning well beyond the call of duty) such as replacing wonky keyboards on laptops; neatly organizing a formerly completely chaotic IT storage closet for easy access, and arranging for pickup of computer 'waste' for recycling; and even assisting a difficult to work with contractor/consultant who technically wasn't even covered by our support contract -- why? Because the AS Computers staff are passionate about ensuring that the customer is completely satisfied. I hope I've made myself clear. The service that AS Computers provides is simply stellar. I have - after nearly a year and a half of continuous support service from them - NO complaints. None. I can't recall a single time that I've ever felt I was getting less than 100% of their effort while fixing even the most trivial of issues. I don't hand out compliments often. Poor service tends to be the norm these days. People tend to be grateful just to get merely adequate service. Exceptional service is a rarity. A.S Computers is exceptional.

I cracked my laptop screen and messed up my display, and upon inquiry, I found that the manufacturers would take a good amount of time and money to repair my device. Matthew offered me a repair at a great price and respected my need for a speedy fix, and was very cooperative and easy to work with throughout the entire process. His service is an excellent choice that I would recommend to anyone.

I had Mr. Gilman mount a television for me, and . I couldn't be happier with his service. After I incorrectly, and embarrassingly, informed him that I had the proper mounting materials, he cheerfully went to the nearest hardware store to get the proper equipment. He even fixed an electrical issue I had in my basement free of charge. He was also as personable as he was professional. Whenever I do anything else TV-related, he's the first person I'll call.

Mr. Piper priced, which was reasonable, the replacement of the broken screen on my granddaughter's computer, then expeditiously made the replacement. In the future, I'll only go to him to repair my and my family's computers. Job well done! Joe McCarthy

Stafford was absolutely amazing. I water damaged my phone, and apple's new policy is they won't open up the phone to see if it was a battery or any other type of internal issue. I posted on thumbtack, Stafford was quick to respond, came out that day to meet me to get my phone. He got back to me in less than 8 hours, with the issue of my phone. He was fast, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and just willing to help. It's so nice to see someone so passionate about what they do, that they just want to solve people's problems. Stafford, thank you for an amazing experience and I highly recommend anyone in the greater Boston area contact him for technical needs! He is excellent to work with!

How much does it cost to fix an iPhone screen?

A broken iPhone screen doesn’t have to mean shelling out major money for a new phone. iPhone repair is an easy solution for a cracked or damaged iPhone screen that will have it looking as good as new in no time. The size of your iPhone will affect screen cost. Another factor that affects iPhone repair cost is whether you want to have your LCD repaired or replaced at the same time that you have your screen fixed. If you have AppleCare (Apple’s insurance), screen repair costs an additional $29 fee. Prices for Apple’s screen repair without AppleCare coverage vary based on your screen size. Here are some examples of average cost from less expensive third-party providers:

  • iPhone 5/5S/5C: $75, full screen replacement including the LCD and digitizer.
  • iPhone SE: $124.99, full screen replacement including the LCD and digitizer.
  • iPhone 6: $99.99, full screen replacement including the LCD and digitizer.
  • iPhone 6 Plus/6S: $125, full screen replacement including the LCD and digitizer.
  • iPhone 7/7 Plus: $174.99, full screen replacement including the LCD and digitizer.
  • iPhone 4/4S: $70, glass and LCD repair.
  • iPhone 5/5S/5C: $80, glass and LCD repair.
  • iPhone SE: $80, glass and LCD repair.
  • iPhone 6: $90, glass and LCD repair.
  • iPhone 6 Plus: $100, glass and LCD repair.
  • iPhone 6S: $110, glass and LCD repair.
  • iPhone 6S Plus: $130, glass and LCD repair.

How much does it cost to fix the Home button on an iPhone?

If the Home button on your iPhone has stopped working, it might be time for professional help. If your Home button problem is caused by a faulty product and you’re under warranty, the repair will be free. However, if you (or your dog who stepped on the phone) are the culprit, there will be a fee for repair. iPhone repair costs will vary depending on the model of your phone, who is providing the service, and whether your phone is under warranty or you have the extended warranty called AppleCare. If Apple repairs an iPhone that is out of warranty, the cost will be higher than from a third-party provider. One reason to consider paying more for repair by Apple is that using an outside service for repairs can sometimes void other Apple warranties that are in effect for your iPhone. Home button repair falls under Apple’s “other damage” repair pricing category, which costs a flat fee of $99 under AppleCare. If your phone is out of warranty, here are some of the average prices you can expect to pay to repair a Home button:

  • iPhone 8 Plus: $399.
  • iPhone 8: $349.
  • iPhone 7 Plus: $349.
  • iPhone 7: $319.
  • iPhone 6s Plus: $329.
  • iPhone 6 Plus: $329.
  • iPhone 6s: $299.
  • iPhone 6: $299.
  • iPhone SE: $269.
  • iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5: $269.
  • iPhone 4s: $199.
  • iPhone 4: $149.
  • iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G: $149.

How much is it to fix a water-damaged iPhone?

If your iPhone has been damaged by water, there’s still hope. It often costs less to repair an iPhone than to buy a new phone, and you can save your contacts, photos and other stored data. If you have AppleCare, the extended warranty provided by Apple, your coverage includes two incidents of accidental damage for repair at the rates listed below. Using a third-party provider can save you money; however, once an outside vendor has done work on your phone, your warranty may be voided and Apple may no longer provide service for your phone. Here are Apple’s charges for iPhone repair for water damage (classified as “other damage” on their website):

  • iPhone X: $549.
  • iPhone 8 Plus: $399.
  • iPhone 8: $349.
  • iPhone 7 Plus: $349.
  • iPhone 7: $319.
  • iPhone 6s Plus: $329.
  • iPhone 6 Plus: $329.
  • iPhone 6s: $299.
  • iPhone 6: $299.
  • iPhone SE: $269.
  • iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5: $269.
  • iPhone 4s: $199.
  • iPhone 4: $149.
  • iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G: $149.

How much does it cost to replace the screen on an iPhone 6?

An iPhone screen can crack fairly easily, so it’s always recommended to use a shock-absorbing case and a tempered glass screen protector to help keep your investment safe. Replacing the screen on your iPhone 6 will vary in price depending on which iPhone 6 model you have and who provides the repair. Third-party vendors provide lower-cost service than Apple for iPhone repair, unless you have Apple’s product insurance, AppleCare. Here are some examples of iPhone 6 screen and LCD average repair costs from third-party providers:

  • iPhone 6: $90.
  • iPhone 6 Plus: $100.
  • iPhone 6S: $110.
  • iPhone 6S Plus: $130.

You may prefer to have your iPhone repaired by Apple. If you have AppleCare, your screen repair cost will be $29, but if you don’t have this coverage, iPhone repair will cost more from Apple than from a third-party vendor. Here are some examples of average iPhone screen repair cost when provided by Apple without AppleCare:

  • iPhone 6: $129.
  • iPhone 6 Plus: $149.
  • iPhone 6s: $149.
  • iPhone 6s Plus: $169.

The average national cost for an iPhone technician is $80-$100 per hour
