About
All-level online (from anywhere!) and in-person classes (for Boston area) for private and group cello lessons and music theory/history sessions. I focus on technique, musical expression & body awareness that pairs with music knowledge through some exercises in music history and theory. Together, we will create a personalized daily and weekly practice plan that will positive encourage progress and keep you interested.
I have been playing cello for 20+ years and teaching for over 7 years, working with beginners to intermediate-advanced students, from kids to adult amateurs.
I offer lessons from 45 min to one hour and would generally recommend an hour for the first few meetings. I also offer longer lessons if needed!

Jenna was fantastic!!! I didn't use Jenna as a cello teacher, but she performed at my wedding. The music was phenomenal and really made our event special; she even took a special request and arranged a custom song for our recessional. Jenna's professionalism and responsiveness was off the charts. Jenna was always extremely prompt and courteous with her emails and was by far the easiest vendor we communicated with for our wedding. Excellent teacher! Very patient and with high quality of musicianship. My daughter has been inspired with passion to learn cello after just few lessons with Ms. Jenna. Her lessons were not only for teaching techniques, but also enriching the musicianship for the students (i.e. by introducing composers, background of the music, etc.). Highly recommend!!

Jenna is an incredible cello teacher! She explains things really well and is incredibly patient when trying to teach new techniques.
