I had a free consultation with Nikki back in July and when I left the gym I knew she was the trainer that I was looking for. She's not only very professional, knowledgeable on what her clients need, but also really cares and pays attention to your needs. She not only created a workout routine for me, but also created a health nutrition plan according to my needs and follows up whenever she sees that I need help on getting motivated. Nikki always makes sure she works around my schedule and has been so kind being flexible since due to my work schedule, there are dates/times when is very difficult for me to train. I am happy to say that I've found the right trainer for me and, most importantly, a true friend who really cares about me and keeps me motivated in order to achieve my fitness goals!!
Carol ran a CPR BLS course that I took. As a physician who has taken this course before, I can confidently state that her "version" is the best I've taken yet. It relies mostly on AHA content, but her communication skills make the difference. She stresses the most important points in an efficient method, with plenty of time left for questions and practice
I went to see June to talk about my digestive issues. Foods seemed to just sit in my stomach. June felt I was not digesting food properly. She discussed with me ways to improve my digestion through diet ( including eating fermented foods, re- populating the gut), supplementation and food combining ( what foods to eat together and when). June is very knowledgeable about food and how the digestive system works. I immediately saw results. She gave me the tools to not reach for over the counter products to relieve indigestion. She also suggested recipes. I recommend anyone needing help with digestive issues to contact June. Symptoms diminished and others were resolved through her suggestions. From talking to June I have a greater respect for food and the way it nourishes and heals if we listen to our bodies and take the time to eat in a calm unhurried manner. With all the information out there about what to eat for health, you can get confused as to what to eat. This can cause stress. June is like a encyclopedia of diet information and she is willing to research what she does not know.June also emphasized how much stress affects digestion. I initially came to Pete because I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knee and I was having extreme difficulty in walking. He did an initial consult, listened to me, tested my movement and flexibility, and then created a program that was specific to me. We met two to three times a week and after about four to six months, I was able to walk without minimal pain and I felt so much better. I highly recommend Pete because he's a really good trainer and puts in the time with each client. He creates specific programs, tailors each plan to the client's needs and always forwards information that will help that person with their goals.
