Inês Andrade’s Online Piano Studio

Introduction: I am deeply passionate about sharing the joy of music through teaching, and I am committed to helping my students unlock their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment. With nearly two decades of experience teaching piano to students of all ages and skill levels, I have had the privilege of serving as Adjunct Faculty in Piano Studies at New York University and as a Teaching Assistant for the Piano and Music Theory Departments at Boston University. Alongside my academic roles, I have maintained a thriving private teaching studio both in Boston and online. My performance career has taken me across continents, with engagements at prestigious venues including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, The Esplanade in Singapore, and Centro Cultural de Belém in Portugal, and I've had the honor of performing as a soloist with many orchestras and ensembles. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Boston University, as well as a Master's degree in Piano Pedagogy and Performance. My teaching approach combines a careful attention to technical details with a focus on creativity and expression, tailored to meet the individual needs and goals, as well as the age of each student. I am proud to have witnessed countless students achieve remarkable progress and develop a lifelong love for music under my guidance. My students have been prizewinners at several competitions and achieved top marks at the RCM and ABRSM piano exams.
