FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $30 for a 30 minute lesson, and $60 for an hour lesson. Cancellations are accepted; however, if cancellations occur often, I may require a deposit for half the lesson cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always shape my lesson around each student's individual needs and goals. Regardless of which level the student is at, it is critical to have a good foundation to build his or her skills on top of, and I believe that improvements can come from diligent, yet efficient practicing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did my undergraduate training for violin performance at the Boston Conservatory and Berklee College of Music, and I received scholarships from both institutions. My previous teachers include violinists and a principal violinist from the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the concertmaster from the Indianapolis Symphony. I also studied with a renowned former faculty member at the New England Conservatory. I recently graduated with my Master of Music degree at the Boston Conservatory, and I will be doing the Artist Diploma program at CCM in the Fall 2022.
