This is not a one-size-fits-all studio. I allow my students to dictate how their lessons will go. Students looking for a more challenging and demanding teacher can absolutely get that here. However, students simply looking to have fun and learn a new skill will also fit in. Each student creates their own plan and a timeline that matches their individual goals.

My husband (Nick) and I highly recommend Star Dance School! We were looking somewhere to go for some dance date nights and to also get some tips for dancing at our wedding. We ended up signing up for the Gold Wedding Package (which is a great value) and had a blast working with Peter! Peter not only helped us out with our first dance song, but also worked with us on a final fun dance. We are not expert dancers yet we pulled off some jumps and spins like pros. Our guests were blown away! Nick and I had a great time learning new dance moves and felt so confident during our reception. I love my husbands dance moves, but he can be shy about them. Peter gave him some tips and Nick was on the dance floor most of the night! By choice!Post wedding, we are excited to take advantage of the group classes, and I am sure we will have a blast. Never thought my daughter would enjoy dancing this much. Thank you so much Peter for your patience and encouragement. Nothing like seeing a child with so much joy on the dance floor. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free introductory consultation to all new students. During the consultation you will be free to let us know what your individual goals, strengths, and weaknesses are. We will make recommendations about how you should proceed with lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nearly 15 years of professional dance experience. Ten years of dance education experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I found my passion for ballroom and latin dance as a teenager, and have been dancing since.
