Yaman is a great teacher. I’m an adult student that studied guitar for many years and wanted to learn bass. I have a decent amount of music theory and Yaman was able to explain complex theory that I was either confused about or just didn’t know in very accessible ways. He’s very enthusiastic about about the bass and also teaching. I think he’d be good with students of any age and skill level. I enjoyed every lesson and always felt encouraged and was pleased with the progress I made over a short time period. He is also very versatile. His musical vocabulary covered many genres. Great teacher.

Yaman is a fantastic teacher who has improved my playing immeasurably in the past couple months. He's helped me with my fundamentals of music and rhythm and also made sure I have more "fun" stuff incorporated in my lessons as well. I've been studying bass longer than I'd like to say, with a host of different teachers along the way. Yaman is simply the best. I've been working with him for about 8 months and I notice great improvement in finger technique, rhythm, ear training, and music theory. I've never had these kinds of results with anyone else - ever. Yaman is moreover a terrific person. He's very patient and caring and wants to help you get it right!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I acknowledge that most of my students do music as a hobby, they do it for fun! So I do my best to give them the most reasonable price that wouldn't hurt their budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I try to discover their musical interest. What excites them musically the most is what will inspire them to practice, so I try to focus on the bands and musicians they want to sound like. Then I create a structure and a plan to make them reach their musical goals in a most efficient and quicker way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree on Performance of Music from Berklee College of Music.
