I have never used a platform like this, but after struggling to mount my tv, I knew I needed some extra help. BK answered within minutes of my request. He analyzed my problem and made sure to give me the best price possible. BK went to the hardware store and then came to my apartment and mounted my tv. This was a quick service and he left zero mess. BK also showed me how it was done and answered my many questions about how it’s done. Thank you BK, I am typing this review while watching my newly mounted tv!

We had an excellent experience with BK the Handyman! We hired him through Thumbtack to help us with a large IKEA PAX wardrobe system that we had picked up ourselves and packed into our car. We needed help getting everything into the apartment, onto the elevator, and then unpacked and assembled.
BK responded promptly and was able to accommodate our very short-notice request. He arrived with his own dolly, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful, and clearly had a lot of experience with this type of project. He was also very strong! And very quick and efficient, wasting no time. And thorough, taking care the job was done to the top degree of quality He stayed longer than we expected to make sure everything was taken care of and was simply lovely to work with.
We highly recommend BK and would definitely hire him again!

I’ve had other people come to do work by the hour who spend time taking phone calls, and I really appreciate that BK is the complete opposite. He wears his headphones while he works, stays focused on the job, and is respectful of your space and time.
He is also incredibly tidy and organized. He arrives fully prepared with all his tools, including a handheld vacuum cleaner, and leaves everything clean when he’s done. That level of professionalism and consideration really sets him apart.
