I needed to have some rooms moved around in my house. Smart Penny sent a couple of gentlemen, and they did a fabulous job. They disassembled, moved and reassembled everything. I literally had to do nothing other than tell them what needed to be moved. They were careful with my house and belongings, and they never stopped working. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

From the initial correspondence with inquiries to the final delivery EVERYTHING done by Smart Penny Moving was thoroughly professional. Emails/phone calls about charges were handled promptly and courteously. The execution of the actual move was flawless. I had a spice rack with tiny glass bottles that was a last minute thought and I asked if that could be included in one of the boxes. Much to my surprise when I unpacked at our destination, EACH bottle had been wrapped individually by the movers. Unfortunately it rained the actual day of the move and each and every time the men walked in they wiped their feet on the tarp they had put down. I can't get my own family to do that when they aren't balancing large, unwieldy and heavy pieces of furniture!. I unhesitatingly endorse this company. Professional, courteous, cost efficient. What more can a person ask for?!?!?

I recently moved from Boston, MA to southern Maine. Smart Penny sent me a truck and two guys to move everything out of my 2 bedroom second-floor apartment to my new 3 bedroom first-floor apartment. It took three hours to get everything out (they wrapped all my furniture for me) and one to get everything back in. They even helped move some of the crap furniture left behind by the previous tenant.
The movers worked so efficiently it actually ended up taking longer to drive up than it did doing the actual labor. Fortunately, Smart Penny gave me an excellent deal. Even though Maine and Massachusetts could be considered a "long distance move", they considered it a local move and charged me a flat rate for travel time, which saved me well over $200 thanks to all that traffic.
I would definitely highly recommend them!

Outstanding value, excellent customer service and true professionalism in packing, moving and installing my possessions. These guys are hard workers who make the moving experience as comfortable as possible, and they delivered all of my things from Massachusetts to Florida without a scratch, ding or break. You would be hard pressed to find a better mover.

Smart Penny Moving is the moving company to trust. I changed my moving date three times and they were accommodating with every change. They were on time and so polite and helpful. The move involved moving some large and heavy items up stairs with a 90 degree turn on the landing and steep steps and they handled it like pros.
This was my first time using movers and I will never move without them again. They don't try to take advantage of you and they don't take any shortcuts with your personal items. Everything was carefully wrapped and packed. Also super nice and friendly guys. I will definitely be using this company again.
