They were great. Very nice, really knowledgable, and actually saved us money by testing our breaker box and determining we did not have to add the extra breaker that we thought was necessary for the house. We really appreciated it!

We had a burning plastic smell in the basement. Joe came out and saw that we had some incorrect size wiring and a breaker too large for the amount of draw from the stove/oven. He replaced the wires with the correct size wires and put in a smaller breaker so that if the wires heat up too much again it will trip the breaker instead of melting the wire nuts. Can't say enough about how safe we now feel that our house won't catch fire. Thank you, Joe!!

David added 3 outlets in our basement room, swapped a circuit breaker that was not installed up to code (regular breaker vs. ground and arc fault protected), discovered our smoke detectors in the common area of the house were not connected and he fixed it, cleaned up some wiring in an outside detached garage (removing an old disconnect that was not being used), and installed a water proof GFCI outlet on the exterior of our garage. David showed up 5 minutes before he said he would, had all the tools necessary to complete the job and was very neat during his work. Very easy to work with and he was quite competent with the code and requirements of the job. It was a small job that most others would not do, and it was our first time hiring someone from thumbtack.

I've had Mike do numerous jobs for me over the past several years and have always been more than satisfied with his work. I've had him correct issues with my circuit breaker panel, install lighting fixtures, install hardwired smoke and fire detectors and also install new wiring and outlets. He does a great job and I think his prices are great. Highly recommend his services.

Tony was an absolute professional! He installed 6 LED lights, 2 outlets and new circuits and switches in our unfinished basement. He came to assess, gave me the quote and finished the work in the span of 4 days. He charged a very reasonable rate and was very quick and responsive. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him.

We had a little snag when our job turned out to be bigger than I thought but Joe adapted and made our project happen. He even had to scramble into the attic to find an oddly placed circuit breaker. Joe is now on my speed dial for future electrical needs.

Jason did a phenomenal job at about 1/3 the cost of other quotes I received. He installed electrical outlets above two wood burning fireplaces, mounted a 55 TV above one of them, including threading the A/V wires horizontally across the wall and across studs, and added a few other new outlets throughout the house. I had a bunch of home theatre companies come out and tell me how complicated my TV mounting job was going to be and gave me absurd timetables and quotes. Jason came by and completed all the jobs perfectly in 6 hours. Also, unlike other electricians that I’ve had, Jason didn’t make a mess and spackled all the holes in the wall. I highly recommend Jason and will definitely hire him again for my next job (recessed and exterior lighting).

Phil is a first class act...! He has been helping me for about 6 years doing various jobs from installing ceiling fans, inside and outside lights, updating all the plugs in my house, added an outlet for my outside koi pond, wired my roof for snow and ice melting, swapped out my circut breaker box, etc., . . . no job is too small for him to give an estimate. Phil always shows up on time and is very conscientious, makes certain the job is done right and is a very clean worker. He is quick to reply and quick to arrive, friendly and easy to talk with, very easy going. I would recommend Phil to anyone.

We had David come out to do some troubleshooting on a circuit that had some odd issues tripping the breaker often. He also added exterior outlets and installed a new doorbell and front porch light fixture. All in all, he had the best price out of the people that quoted. David was also very professional and got our small job done in one day. Everything works as we hoped. I'm very happy I worked with him and look forward to working with him and Pro Electrical Services in the future. Due to snow/ice, David was a few minutes late for our agreed upon start time but messaged me to let me know and gave an accurate estimate of his arrival time. Near the end of the project, I had to leave for a personal engagement and it took a while for me to return. Even though it took longer than expected and he finished before I returned. He was very patient and just a good guy. One other thing to note: David accepts Check, Cash, Credit Cards (through Square/Quickbooks app). Which I think is great. I paid with my Visa credit card.

Robinson Bros. has completed many jobs at my home ranging from changing my electrical service from fuses to circuit breakers to installing new light fixtures, etc. They are also very good at problem solving. The company responds quickly to give estimates and follows through to completion within the time frame promised. The work is done correctly and in a very professional manner. The work area is left in perfect condition when the work is completed. I have recommended Robinson Bros. to family, friends, and business associates and all have been very pleased and grateful for my referral

I had an old 60Amp fuse box in my house - insurance wanted it updated to 100 amp Circuit breakers; which is fine, except, I plan to rebuild the house in 9 months. Mike called the insurance company, called my city inspector and spoke to them and they agreed to let me keep the 60 amp service and just upgrade the fuse box with a circuit breaker. We still have to schedule the inspection but I trust that there will be no issues and Mike will see it through - Great guy to work with and great work ethics and we will be recommending him to everyone.

Duane was wonderful! His response time was lightening fast, his price was competitive and his work was professional! He gave me a quote on a Monday and the work was completed the very next day and it wasn't a small project, I had my whole electrical service upgraded to 200amp circuit breakers! On his way out he noticed a safety issue with one of my outside outlets and took extra steps to correct it to eliminate the safety concern. He is great. Hire him! Sincerely, Joy M.

Rick did a fantastic job. He communicated very effectively leading up to the job, came out on a Saturday, and fixed not only the broken circuit but also cleaned up some obviously shoddy electrical work from whoever had wired the kitchen previously. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

We had a variety of electrical work to do after we bought an older home, and Pat's taken care of all of it for us. Reorganizing a breaker panel, installing a new subpanel, new outlets, ungrounded outlets, sketchy fixtures, you name it. He showed up on-time, took care of the work he was there to do, made light no-pressure suggestions at times, and sent an invoice afterward. We plan to use him again in the future.

Chris from CT Rouse has completed a number of projects for me over the past few weeks, both big and small. In addition to relocating and re-wiring my entire circuit panel, he's also vented bathroom fans, installed smart home products and made sure my home was free of visible cable wires ;-) He's professional, prompt, courteous and efficient and I'll always call him first for every job.

Safeguard has done several jobs for us in the past, from adding circuits, to completely rewiring a new kitchen. Safeguard's work is second to none. The work was done on time and under budget. It was done with care, it was done neatly, and most importantly, safely. I would not hesitate to call back for any electrical needs in the future.

  • Details
Please see below!! • I have observed a Federal Pacific Electric “Stab-Lok” service panel. These affected circuits should be replaced breakers may fail to trip in response to an over current or a short circuit. Failure of a circuit breaker to trip can result in a fire, property damage, or personal injury. A circuit breaker that may not trip does not afford the protection that is intended and required. • Open exposed wiring is noted under the kitchen sink and under the kitchen counter top in the location where a dishwasher would be installed, This wiring should terminate in a junction box; these are VERY DANGEROUS ELECTRACUTION HAZARDS; repair should be done IMMEDIATELY by a licensed electrician. • There is a GFCI outlet wired hot neutral in reverse on the right side of the kitchen sink. This condition is created when the neutral wire (black) is connected to the hot (silver) side of an outlet. This should be repaired soon as possible to prevent damage to electronics and for proper ground fault protection. • The GFCI outlets in the bathroom and on the left side of the kitchen sink are not grounded, this is an unsafe condition. All receptacles should be grounded for safety; I recommend repair by a licensed electrician as soon as possible. Also need a garbage disposal install, its wired and need to be tested.
